Effective Date: September 11, 2026
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alexander Probert (“I,” “me,” “we,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use alexanderprobert.com, including the blog, e-book and course checkout, contact forms, and related pages (the “Site”).
Real estate brokerage services, when provided, are offered as a licensee with Chad and Sandy (https://chadandsandy.com). Information related to an actual listing, buyer, or other licensed engagement may also be handled under that brokerage’s policies, applicable real estate law, and association or MLS rules. Those rules control if they are stricter than this Policy for that engagement.
By using the Site, you choose what to share. You are not required to submit personal information to read public blog posts. If you buy a product, request contact, or hire me, you decide what you send, with the understanding that some information is needed to complete a purchase, answer you, or perform real estate work lawfully.
1. The short version
I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent mailing lists. I do not knowingly steal data. I do not treat client or customer information as a product to monetize.
I use information to operate the Site, deliver e-books and courses you buy, respond to you, improve the Site in ordinary ways, and—only when you ask for real estate help—to serve you honestly and fairly in the open market, while following real estate law and association policy.
Security is handled on a best-effort basis: reasonable tools and habits to reduce risk. No website can promise zero risk. You stay in control of how much you send through a form, email, or text.
2. Information you choose to provide
Depending on how you use the Site, you may give me:
Name, email address, phone number, and message content from contact or scheduling forms
Billing name, email, and payment-related details needed to complete a purchase (card numbers are handled by the payment processor, not stored by me as a card vault)
Account information if you create a login for a course or download area
Address or property details if you ask about buying, selling, renting, or valuing real estate
Files or notes you attach (for example, a question about a property or a course worksheet)
Testimonials or comments you post
Any other information you type into an email, form, or message
Do not send Social Security numbers, full bank or card numbers, copies of passports or driver’s licenses, or wire instructions through a generic website form. If a real estate transaction later requires identity or banking details, that should go through the proper brokerage, title, escrow, or lender channel—not a public contact box.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most sites, the Site and its hosting or analytics tools may collect:
IP address, browser type, device type, and general location derived from IP
Pages viewed, referring URL, dates and times of visits
Cookies or similar storage used to keep a session logged in, remember preferences, or understand which pages are used
Basic server logs used for security and troubleshooting
This is ordinary website operation, not a side business in profiling you for sale to others.
4. How information is used
Information is used to:
Deliver e-books, courses, receipts, and support you requested
Answer questions and schedule calls
Operate, secure, and fix the Site
Send transactional messages (order confirmations, password resets, class access)
Send occasional updates only if you opted in or if the message is part of a service you asked for; you can stop marketing emails
Comply with law, including real estate record-keeping, advertising, fair housing, and association or MLS requirements
Serve clients who hire me: understand what they want, negotiate a clear meeting of the minds in the marketplace, and document the work as the law and brokerage require
I will not use your information to secretly train a public product that republishes your private transaction details, and I will not sell it to data brokers.
5. No sale of personal information
I do not sell personal information as that idea is commonly understood: no payment in exchange for handing your name, email, phone, or file to a buyer of lists.
I do not share personal information for their independent marketing in exchange for money.
If a law such as the CCPA/CPRA treats certain advertising cookies as a “sale” or “share,” I still do not run a data-selling business. You may request that I not sell or share personal information as those statutes define it by emailing the contact below. I will honor that request to the extent those laws apply to this Site.
6. When information is shared (only as needed)
Information is shared only when there is a real reason:
Service providers who help run the Site: hosting, email delivery, payment processing, course platforms, scheduling, security, or analytics. They are supposed to use the data to provide their service, not to buy and resell your identity as their product. I choose mainstream providers and do not grant them a right to sell your information for their own profit.
Chad and Sandy / brokerage, cooperating brokers, MLS, title, escrow, lenders, inspectors, and similar parties when you have asked for licensed real estate services and sharing is needed to do the job, follow the law, or follow association and MLS rules. That is service, not a data sale.
Legal and safety: if required by law, court order, regulator, or to protect a person from serious harm, or to defend against fraud or a claim.
Successor: if the personal practice or Site is transferred as a going concern, information may transfer with it under this same no-sale approach.
I do not hand client files to random advertisers.
7. Real estate, association policy, and consumer protection
When you hire me for real estate work, the goal is straightforward dealing: protect the consumer as the law requires, tell the truth in advertising, follow fair housing rules, and negotiate an honest meeting of the minds in an open marketplace. Record-keeping, disclosures, and certain sharing with the brokerage, association, or MLS are often mandatory. This Policy does not let either of us ignore those duties.
Confidentiality in a transaction is handled under the written brokerage agreement, state agency/disclosure law, and brokerage policy. Website analytics on a public blog are not the same thing as the privacy of a pending contract.
8. Your control
You control what you submit. You may:
Use the Site without filling out forms
Ask what information I have about you
Ask for a copy or a correction of inaccurate account or contact data
Ask that marketing emails stop
Close a course account where that is technically available
Ask for deletion of information I am not legally required to keep
I may need to retain some records: completed orders and tax records; real estate files the brokerage or state law requires; information needed to resolve a dispute; or backups that rotate on a schedule. Deletion requests will be handled in good faith within those limits.
If you are in a place with extra rights (for example California, some other U.S. states, or the EEA/UK), you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object, and to appeal a refusal. Send those requests to the email below. I will not deny service, charge extra, or lower service quality just because you exercised a privacy right, except where a service truly cannot function without the data (for example delivering a paid course to an email address).
9. Cookies and similar tools
Cookies may be used for:
Essential functions (checkout, login, security)
Preferences
Basic analytics so I can see what content is useful
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Essential cookies may be required for purchase or login to work. I do not use your content purchases as an excuse to build a resale dossier.
10. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party processors. They receive what they need to charge the card or other method, fight fraud, and send receipts. I receive confirmation that a payment worked, plus the name, email, and product associated with the order—not a standing copy of your full card number sitting in a Site spreadsheet.
11. Security — best effort, not a guarantee
I take commercially reasonable, best-effort steps to protect information: reputable hosting, HTTPS where the Site is served over HTTPS, limited access to inboxes and dashboards, and avoiding collection of data that does not need to be collected.
“Best effort” means I work to reduce risk. It does not mean the internet is perfectly safe. Email can be forwarded. Phones can be stolen. Providers can have incidents. You can help by using a unique password if you have an account, not sending highly sensitive documents through a casual form, and telling me quickly if you think an account or order was misused.
I will not pretend that a personal professional site has a bank-grade security operations center. I will also not be careless on purpose.
12. Retention
Inquiry emails and form messages: kept as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward
Purchase records: kept as needed for accounting, tax, refunds, and proof of license to the digital product
Course accounts: kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period after
Real estate transaction files: kept as required by brokerage policy and state law, which is often years
When information is no longer needed and no law requires keeping it, I will delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course of cleanup.
13. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the relevant standard). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted information, contact me and I will delete it.
14. Do Not Track / global privacy controls
Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There is no single industry standard for responding to all of them. Where a legally recognized opt-out preference signal applies to this Site, I will treat it as a request not to sell or share personal information as those laws define those words.
15. International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States for a U.S.-based practice. If you visit from another country, you understand information may be processed in the United States, which may have different privacy rules than your home country.
16. Links and third-party sites
The Site may link to Chad and Sandy, lenders, title companies, course tools, social platforms, or articles. Those sites have their own policies. This Policy covers alexanderprobert.com, not the entire internet.
17. Changes
This Policy may be updated. The “Last Updated” date will change when it does. Continued use of the Site after an update means you are using the Site under the revised Policy. If a change is material and I have your email from an account or purchase, I will try to give a reasonable heads-up.
18. Contact
Privacy questions, access or deletion requests, or “do not sell or share” requests:
Alexander Probert
https://alexanderprobert.com
For information tied to a licensed real estate engagement, the brokerage may also need to be involved:
Chad and Sandy

Say which email or phone you used and what you want done so the request can be matched to the right records.
